It’s been a few years but Rob and his team did a great job remodeling my kitchen. It was quite the job, since I needed walls taken out and ductwork moved. They communicated well and finished in a timely manner. Rob even went with me to pick out my appliances and counter tops, which meant a lot to me. We had Rob and his excellent crew essentially redesign and completely update our kitchen and bathrooms. I was ghosted before the project was 100% complete even though I paid in full. Was lied to about being licensed. He is not from the ROC website. It was easy to sign up with Rob at 5 Star Kitchen and Bath because he was full of promises and has a likeable personality. However, things haven't gone so well. We got off to a good start but a couple of weeks in, plumbing issues with the dwelling had to be addressed. After a 2 week pause, getting them to return and take this project to completion in a timely manner has failed. It's been 2 years and still not done. I am nervous about the reliability of the work in the showers. I watched them do the waterproofing. I expressed my concerns to deaf ears. The tile work is average. I still don't have a working temperature control after 30 mos. I asked for insulation under the tub for sound reduction and they didn't do it because it wasn't necessary. It was for me. Trash was continually left in the garage.The plumber for 5 Star has yet to return to fix the water hammer in the wall that I hear everyday, as well as a few other things. Unfortunately, against my better judgement, I let him talk me into paying for the project before it was completed on a verbal promise he would take care of everything.

We contracted with Rob and Michael for a shower tear out and remodel in Sept 2021.  Work began Monday after Christmas.  6 mos later we still do not have the project properly completed. We had issues with the tile being installed in the wrong direction; chipped and corners broken on several tiles, chipped tiles were replaced.  We were promised to be done by March, in time for,our company to arrive.. Rob initially measured for the glass and several weeks later and past the completion date promised, we were told Rob "hired" another glass company to measure and order our glass with.  When glass was installed, they did not install with the proper hardware and not what we agreed on. On May 4th Rob agreed to re-order the stationary glass with the correct hardware. On May 10th we were told the glass should take 10 days.  I have text Rob for an update on May 31st and again today, with no response yet.  I am very disappointed and would not recommend 5 Star.

This company is the go to company for kitchen renovation. They saw me through from demo, plumbing, ordering, and install. I love that they handled my entire custom kitchen project. The team was great! Friendly, clean, on time, so easy to work with. The quality of the vendors that 5 star bath goes through for cabinets, countertops, tile etc are high quality. I am so thrilled with my kitchen and can’t stop sitting in it with a giant Cheshire Cat grin admiring the work (and this is 7 months after the completed project!) thank you Rob and the entire 5 star team for your attention to detail and vision.
